Through the canyons to Lawrence's House

Starting from Rum village, we head south on foot towards the sand dunes in Wadi um Ishrin. We climb the sand dunes, which nearly everybody finds to be fun - there is a great view from the top!

After that we continue down the other side and through a series of narrow canyons to Lawrence's House near to Jebel Raka. We take a picnic lunch with us, (everybody carries his own) which we shall eat on the way. Bring some kind of water carrier with you if you don't want mineral water.

From there it is an easy hike to the camp where we shall spend the night.

This is comfortable walk on the flat (well, more or less!) with no difficult scrambling or climbing. It should take us about six hours. If you are an enthusiastic walker we can vary the route a little bit to make it longer.

Price : for 2-3 people 65JD per person. This includes all meals and sleeping equipment .
