ABOUT BEDOUINROADS & OUR GUIDES

Welcome! My name is Attayak and I am the owner of Bedouinroads.

Since 2002 I am successfully leading this travel agency and our tours are highly recommended, e.g. by Lonely Planet, the Rough Guide or the Guide du Ru. Me and my guides like to share our knowledge about the desert with our guests and try to give them a deep insight into our Bedouin culture.

I live with my wife and my children in the village of Wadi Rum. I work together with a team of experienced guides; we are all Bedouins from the local tribe, born in the village of Wadi Rum and all of us speak good English. We want to make sure that you enjoy yourself and want to show you how beautiful our desert is. I cannot guide all the tours myself, as much as I would like to.

We all truly love the desert and know every corner of it. We are always very pleased when tourists ask us about it and you can ask any question you have about our lives as Bedouins.

We are proud of how many of our guests tell us that Wadi Rum was the high point of their holiday, on how many of them email us or send us postcards when they arrive home - and on how many of them plan to come back to visit us again or send their friends to see us!

We would be happy to welcome you (again) and show you as much as we can of the desert of Wadi Rum!
