HOW TO GET TO WADI RUM
We appreciate our clients, and feel responsible for them and their comfort and enjoyment not only in the desert but also beyond the tours we offer. Because of this, we are more than happy to help with the details of their visit to Wadi Rum. Here is a quick summary of some of the things we can arrange for you:
TAXI
We can arrange taxis to take you to Wadi Rum from any point in Jordan and also from Wadi Rum to different destinations. The drivers are eager to work for us and we make sure that we choose reliable drivers. If we send you a driver you can be certain that he is trustworthy in every way. They bring you directly to our office in Wadi Rum which makes things easier for you and us. The easiest way would be if the taxi picks you up at your hotel. Give us the time which is the most convenient for you and he will be there. If there are any difficulties, please call us. You don't need to book a driver a long time in advance, the evening before is usually enough notice.

For other routes we would need to ask the driver what he will charge. He will give us an honest and realistic price, since we have a pretty good idea what the cost should be.
If you need a minivan, the price is higher than a taxi : 140 JOD for Amman or the Dead Sea, 80 JOD for Petra (Wadi Moussa)
If you come to us on your own just tell the driver that you want to go to the Rest House in the village of Wadi Rum. This is the easiest way because we don't have street names in the village. We also recommend to forward our phone number to the driver. He can call us so that we can arrange the most comfortable way to bring you to our office. Afterwards we'll start with your tour to the desert which is just a few meters away from there.

RENTAL CAR
Driving by car is an easy and comfortable way to discover Jordan. If you are driving to Wadi Rum, you will at first reach the visitor center, where you will buy your entrance ticket (5 JD/person). If they ask you for your plans just tell them that you have a reservation with Bedouinroads and that you're meeting our guide in the village. Please do not pay attention to people or guides who are waiting outside the Visitor Center. Sometimes they spend the whole day waiting for tourists and tell you stories which are not true. You can simply walk to the Visitor Center Office without talking to them and buy your ticket inside.
After buying the ticket you drive about 5 km until you reach the village. The first building on the right side is the "Rest House". Because the streets in Wadi Rum have no names, we recommend you to meet us there. If you call or text us when you are close to Wadi Rum we can lead you to our office without any time lag. It's pretty close, just across from the Main Mosque and the Post Office. Our phone number works on WhatsApp so you can easily contact us by calling or texting.
