This is perhaps the most dramatic of the Wadi Rum mountains, and one of the most beautiful places to scramble for experienced mountaineers. This is a difficult climb and novices should not attempt it. When you are at the top, you have an even better view from here than from the top of Jebel Rum. It is still possible to see ibex and other wild life here.

We offer a full day trip and a two days "cross Khazali" with bivouac in the mountain. , In all cases the prices include the guide, the equipment and all meals.
It takes about 3 hours to go up and another 3 hours to go down. We start on the south face up "Sabbagh's Road". This is recommended as a guided route and is something between a scramble and the more serious climbing of Jebel Rum.
You can come down another way or you can abseil down if you like. This is a very exciting abseil of about 30 meters.

Khazali is quite big and many people enjoy spending time up here, wandering around. Often there are ibex here, sometimes even close enough to be photographed. We can stay there for longer if you like, bringing a picnic lunch with us. We would come down in the early afternoon after lunch.

This is a full day trip:
400 JD for the day solo 200 JD/person for 2 people 160 JD/person for 3-5 people 180 JD/person for 6 people and more (a second guide is provided for safety reasons) This price includes the full day with the guide (or two depending on the group's size) and the pic-pic. If you wish to stay overnight in our bedouin camp this will be charged an extra 25 JD/person including dinner and breakfast. |
It is a wonderful place to sleep at the top with all the amazing mountains around you. Bring with you a small bag with whatever you need for the night. The guide will carry the safety ropes and the food will be shared between everybody. You will need to bring sleeping bags with you.
